Hi Everyone!

This is my first try at writing a blog and I hope that what I write will be informative to any racquetball player out there. I looked up the definition of blog and it said "an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a web page, also called a web log," and I thought to myself, "an online diary? I am one of the most shyest people out there...So here I am, opening myself up to anyone that is interested... (what did I get myself into?)

I cant believe the progress that NJAR has made over the past year. The increase in tournament participation has been incredible, and I have met a ton of great people! If you just happened to stumble across our website and have never played a tournament before but love the sport of racquetball, give it a try! What do you have to lose? You'll be meeting new people and burning a ton of calories? How can you go wrong with that?

In the near future I plan on blogging on my trip to the US National Doubles in Phoenix, Arizona and also the Pan American Championships in Costa Rica in April. I will be blogging daily and will include pictures as well. Find out what its like to be a US Team Member attending a international competition. Feel free to ask me any questions you like and I will do my best to answer them.

Catch my first blog this weekend, as I attend the Long Island Open in Syosset, NY. This IS the biggest tournament by far on the east coast which brings top players from all over. This is also a Mens and Womens Satellite Stop so their will be lots of great matches to watch. I will be doing a blog Saturday and Sunday letting you know what took place and give you all the scoop from this great tournament and let you know of all the matches that went on. Hopefully, one of them might be one of my matches!
